Juice doesn’t detox the body. The body detoxes itself! Juicing, however, helps in a major way by supporting the systems that get rid of toxins naturally. Try my best detox juice recipe and give your body a chance to clean out the old funk and gunk!

The Details: Scrub Out the Crud!

Juicing concentrates nutrition, like vitamins, minerals, enzymes, antioxidants, and phytochemicals, while simultaneously delivering them in a very easily absorbable package. Very gentle on the system!

This recipe brings tons of antioxidants to your glass, particularly in the oranges and parsley (Yes, parsley!). Even celery gets into the act! This can help prevent and reduce systemic inflammation. Uncontrolled inflammation has been linked to the development of chronic diseases like diabetes, cancer, Alzheimer’s disease, Rheumatoid arthritis, heart disease, and asthma.

Dandelion greens are fantastic for both the kidneys and liver, acting as a natural diuretic and supporting the gallbladder and promoting bile production. These two organs are the cornerstones in the body’s natural detoxification process, so keeping them healthy is key!

Not only is this a great detox juice, but it may boost your bones with its high amount of Vitamin K, thanks to the parsley, dandelion, and celery. Bonus!!!

The Juicer: REVO830

Kuvings REVO830 Juicer makes the best detox juice around!

I made The Green Scene using the Kuvings REVO830 juicer. This machine does it all!!!

The Kuvings REVO830 stands apart thanks to its unique dual feed hopper. This technology brings the best of both a verticle and horizontal cold press juicer. Why is this so awesome? It’s the ability to juice whole produce with little to no chopping significantly decreasing prep time.

How does the REVO830 do it? Using two beautifully engineered components. First is the vertical cut chute that gobbles up long produce like celery, cucumbers, carrots, and other long items WHOLE! Second is the 3.5″ wide flip-top auto-cut hopper that handles large, bulky produce like beets and apples without chopping. If it fits, pop it in!

Another advantage of this machine is its upgraded motor which allows you to run non-stop for up to 45 minutes without taking a break. What’s super cool is that the REVO830 doesn’t just make delcious juice…it also makes smoothiesnut milknice cream, and sorbets!

Combine all this with an outstanding 15-year warranty, I highly recommend this juicer!
