The Details: Kick The Krud!
This juice is packed with the cold and flu nemesis, good old vitamin C. It’s a critical micronutrient that supports our immune system in several different ways. It helps fight against infections by supporting white blood cell production and protecting these cells once they’ve developed. Sporting over 500% RDI of this powerful antioxidant, this recipe delivers a serious kick in the pants to cold and flu viruses.
Also important here is the inclusion of both ginger and turmeric. Both roots have incredible immune-supporting and symptom-relief properties. Gingerol in ginger is known to soothe coughs and sore throats. It’s also a potent anti-nausea compound. Turmeric contains curcumin, a powerful antioxidant known to reduce inflammation and boost immunity.
