Description
Get your daily dose of veggies with this great-tasting juice boasting TEN different vegetables! It will blow your tastebuds away!!!
Ingredients
- 5 Celery Sticks
- 3 Carrots
- 2 Tomatoes
- 1 Bell Pepper
- 5 Sprigs Parsley
- 2 Romaine Lettuce Leaves
- 1 Cucumber
- 1 c Spinach
- 1/2 Red Onion
- 2 Cloves Garlic
Instructions
- Scrub the celery and carrots.
- Wash off the tomatoes and peppers.
- Rinse and pat dry the parsley, romaine, and spinach.
- Peel the cucumber (only if waxed).
- Peel the onion and garlic.
- Run all the ingredients through your juicer and enjoy!!!
Notes
Whenever I can, I leave the peels on my produce. Often, many of the nutrients are located in the peel, so if their flavor doesn’t negatively affect the juice I leave them on.Â
When it comes to cucumbers, however, be sure to peel them if they’re waxed. How can you tell? Take a small pairing knife, or your fingernail, and scrape. If white wax comes off, you know it’s there. One way to avoid this altogether is to go with hothouse/English cucumbers, as they’re typicall not waxed.
