Immunity Tea Bombs

Description

Nobody likes having a cold, so when one hits we’ll do what we can to get rid of it quickly. Try my juicy take on cold busting tea bombs, for a warm, soothing solution. 


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 Uber Ripe Pineapple
  • Handful of Ginger
  • Handful of Turmeric
  • 1 Lemon
  • Pinch of Black Pepper
  • Pinch of Cayenne Pepper

Instructions

STEP 1: Make the Juice

  1. Remove the crown and skin of the pineapple.
  2. Scrub the ginger and turmeric roots.
  3. Peel the lemon (optional).
  4. Run all ingredients (except for the black and cayenne peppers) through your juicer and set aside.

STEP 2: Freeze the Tea Bombs

  1. Pour the Immunity Tea Bomb juice into the lower half of your ice ball tray
  2. Sprinkle black and cayenne pepper (if desired) over each ball.
  3. Seal the ice ball tray top, top off, and freeze until solid.

STEP 3: Make the Tea!

  1. Remove the frozen tea bombs from your ice ball tray.
  2. Place 1 or 2 tea bombs into a heat-proof mug.
  3. Pour steaming hot water (not quite boiling) over the tea bomb(s) and enjoy!

Notes

Feel free to add other items to make the tea taste to your liking. I will add a cinnamon stick to the mug then pour the hot water over it and the tea bomb. Honey is another great addition, as it brings sweetness and further anti-microbial properties (if you use raw honey).
