Fresh pineapple juice benefits for greater health.

Why is Pineapple Juice Good for You?

Pineapples are a nutrient treasure trove, with one cup containing 100% of the Recommended Daily Value (DV) of Vitamin C, 55% of Manganese, 19% of Copper, 15% of Vitamin B6 (1). The list goes on, but these top five are powerhouses for immunity, wound care, energy, bone health, and tissue generation (2, 3, 4, 5). A little pineapple can go a long way to promote your health.

Why is fresh pineapple juice good for your? It's a nutrient treasure trove that helps with immunity, wound care, energy, bone health, and tissue generation.

Pineapples contain antioxidants that scrub free radicals from our systems, compounds that wreak havoc on our cells and are known precursors to cancer. The most prominent of these is bromelain, an enzyme that acts as an antioxidant, that helps reduce inflammation, a precursor to many chronic diseases, aid in digestion, promote heart health, boost the immune system, reduce asthma symptoms, and is used to treat deep wounds and severe burns (6, 7, 8).

I’ve also added red raspberries in this recipe, not only for a tart snap to this already tasty juice but also to boost the antioxidants, making this juice even better at protecting your health (9)!

Why do I love this juicer so much? It’s the combination of speed, yield, and juice quality. Their feed hopper can handle WHOLE PINEAPPLES with hardly any prep (just remove the greens and skin).

Because of that hopper, it’s super fast and easy to use. But that speed doesn’t reduce the quality one bit. As a true cold-press juicer, you get great nutrient extraction and a good yield. It’s also very easy to clean, which is a real bonus. I recommend this machine for any home juicer, from beginner to master!
