My Nama C2 Video Review
Why Did Nama Make a Juicer Blender Machine?

Nama understands that many of us who juice also use a blender. With kitchen countertop space at a premium, their solution was to create a juicer blender machine that shares a single power base at a price that costs less than two separate units of equal quality. But if we’re all into juicing, for which the Nama J2 is fantastic, why do we need a blender?
Juicing vs Blending
Juicing and blending have some things in common, like liquefying solids, combining ingredients, and breaking down fiber. But that’s where the similarities end.
Juicing is a great way to deliver concentrated nutrition from a much larger amount of produce that one could easily consume in their whole form at one time. This is achieved by separating the juice, leaving most of the insoluble fiber, and all the soluble, behind. Juice is generally easier to digest because of this, plus those same nutrients can be more easily absorbed into your body in this concentrated liquid form. I love juicing for that ability to get highly concentrated nutrition in a small package.

Green juice on the left (very little solids) and green smoothie on the right (solids clearly visible).
Blending allows you to consume that produce in an easily digestible form while retaining all its fiber (soluble and insoluble). Blending does physically break down insoluble fibers, making digestion easier but to a lesser degree than with juicing. Blending also allows you to add low-water produce like bananas and avocados that simply can’t be juiced.

Other Blender Uses
There are just some things that a juicer can’t do that a blender is best suited for. Things like smoothies, sauces, dips, soups, nut butter, crushed ice, and even milling grains need a blender to get the job done. The C2’s Power Blender even has a special soup setting that heats it up!
Having one or the other doesn’t cover all of a person’s food prep needs, so having a juicer blender combo is a great way to employ both in your kitchen.
Designing the Best Juicer Blender Combo
The Nama C2 brings all the fantastic benefits of having their J2 juicer and adds a high-speed blender as one machine. You read that right; the juicer assembly for the C2 is none other than their top-rated Nama J2 Cold Press Juicer! There is one base motor that accepts both juicer and blender assemblies. Let’s dig into the details.
C2 Juicer Assembly: It’s the Nama J2!
Nama took its Nama J2 Juicer and made it the juicing assembly for their C2 juicer blender combo. This is the same juicer that’s garnered over 10,000 5-star reviews!

What Makes the Nama J2 Juicer Assembly Special?
In 2021, Nama engineered the J2 specifically to eliminate all issues with their original juicer, the Vitality 5800 / J1. In the process, they created a juicer that revolutionized the industry. Here’s what makes it a top-selling juicer:
- Makes Cold Press Juice FAST
- Huge 5.25″ load-and-go batching hopper.
- Cold press technology extracts and preserves high nutrient content.
- Auto-Cutting Blade feeds ingredients automatically, so you don’t have to.

- Easy to Use
- Minimal chopping needed; if it fits into the hopper, you can juice it (even whole pineapple).
- No need to feed the machine; just load it and walk away.
- Assembly is a snap thanks to minimal, well-designed juicer parts.
- Wide pulp chute prevents clogging from even the most fibrous ingredients.

- Easy to Clean
- Hinged pulp chute means super quick cleaning, no more digging out the pulp.
- Minimal parts are quick and easy to clean.
- In my testing, it took 3 minutes and 32 seconds to clean all parts thoroughly.

C2 Blender Assembly
Nama designed their new power blender assembly to rival other high-powered blenders already in the marketplace. Compared to the Vitamix 5200, one of the best in the industry, it has a top speed of 26,500 rpm compared to only 22,500 rpm for the Vitamix.

The blender pitcher holds a maximum of 65 fl ounces, standard in the blender world, and comes with a few additional features:
- The lid is fitted with security clips to ensure it won’t come off until you want it to. This is a great safety feature for making things like hot soup and when using the blender with younger members of your family.
- There is also a dosing cap on the blender, with 1 oz and 2 oz marks perfect for adding protein powders, liquids, and other small additions that require precise measurements.
Programmed Setting & Manual Mode
In addition to the variable speed option, several pre-sets are programmed into the C2 on the left side of the control knob.
- Smoothie – 1 min
- Soup – 7 min 30 sec
- Milling (Nuts & Grains)- 1 min
- Ice Crush – 1 min
- Cleaning – 1 min
The C2 Power Base
The engineers at Nama designed a smart motor base so that when you put on either the juicer or blender assembly, the motor instantly recognizes each and changes the digital display accordingly.

The base itself fits easily on the counter under standard kitchen cabinets. While larger than the J2 alone, it’s smaller than having a separate juicer and blender on your countertop. You’ll need to store the juicer and blender assemblies elsewhere, as adding either makes the unit 3 inches too tall.
Extras That Come with the C2
In addition to all that I’ve described, the Nama C2 comes with some additional perks.
- Exclusive Juicing 101 & Blending 101 Online Courses – $100 value
Nama nutritionists have created these two video courses to provide you with the foundations of juicing and blending. Combined, they come with 10+ modules and over 50 tutorials, custom juice and blender recipes, and two chef-designed meal plans for each course. That’s two 5-day and two 14-day meal plans with shopping lists and a guide.
The courses are designed for you to go at your own pace, motivating you to discover how the power of juicing and blending can improve your vitality and overall health by giving you the tools and knowledge to add them to your daily life.
- Sorbet Attachment Included – $50 value

Nama now has a sorbet attachment for the J2 Juicer, but you typically have to buy it separately. Not with the C2! It comes as part of the 3-screen (juice, smoothie, sorbet) package, making creating delicious plant-based ice cream (also called nice cream) and sorbets easy.
- Two Printed Recipe Books
Right in the box are two chef-created recipe books for each assembly: Smoothies, Soups & Sauces for the blender and Juices, Nutmilks, & Sorbets for the juicer. Each is at or over 100 pages and filled with delicious recipes and guidance on everything from how to prepare herbs for juicing to defining adaptogens and explaining their uses. They are a genuinely nice addition.

- Quick Start Guide and User Manual
Nama also includes a printed user manual and quick start guide. The manual is your standard book of specifications and detailed explanations for unit assembly, operation, and troubleshooting.
The quick start guide is a fold-out diagram-based piece that shows how to use both the juicer and blender assemblies quickly and safely.
Additional C2 Features
- Cheaper than Buying Separate Machines
- C2 price is significantly less than buying the J2 Juicer and a comparable high-speed blender (like the Vitamix 5200) separately.
- Offer an interest-free payment plan for those who would rather pay monthly.
- Free domestic (United States) shipping is included.
- Several Safety Elements – Safe for Kids to Use
- Juicer and blender assemblies must be properly aligned in order for the power base to turn on.
- Juicer will not run unless the hopper lid is snapped shut.
- Blender pitcher has locking security clips to avoid the lid becoming dislodged or removed during blending.
- Motor is fitted with an overheat trip sensor that shuts it off, not allowing it to start again until it cools off completely.
- Available in 2 Colors: Black or White

- All Materials are Food Grade and BPA-Free
- 15-Year Warranty
- Warranty covers all parts for 15 years, just like the Nama J2.
What I Don’t Like About the C2
While there’s a lot to love about the Nama C2, there are a few things I don’t like:
- Base is Heavy
The smart motor base is pretty heavy, which is great for using it, not moving it around. A good solution would be to keep it on your kitchen counter as a reminder to juice or blend daily.
- Fully Assembled, It Won’t Fit Under Cabinets
As I said earlier, adding either assembly will make the machine 3 inches too tall. But the base by itself will sit on the counter under those same cabinets just fine.
- Lacks Vacuum Blender Attachment
Vacuum blending keeps air incorporation low by removing it from the sealed blender chamber. This makes everything you blend smoother and less foamy while helping preserve nutrients. It’s definitely not a deal-breaker, just a nice thing to have.
- No Citrus Reamer
While the C2 comes with the sorbet attachment, Nama still hasn’t released a citrus reamer attachment for the C2 or the J2. To make this an even better all-in-one machine, having one would be great.
Is the Nama C2 Worth It?
If you’re in the market for a juicer and blender, you can’t go wrong with the Nama C2 Cold Press Juicer + Blender. For the money, it’s an excellent buy for the power, quality, and ease of use this juicer blender combo gives you. The Nama C2 is definitely worth it.
