Nama J2 Large Pitcher Set Review

Juicer Test Kitchen is reader supported - by purchasing through our links, we may earn a small commission.

A pain point for batch juicers like me is the small size of pitcher sets that come standard with most juicers. Nama saw this and designed this new Large Pitcher Set to support their batch juicing customers. It works with their original hopper, Large Hopper, and even Citrus Attachment. Check out my Nama J2 Large Pitcher review to see if it’s worth it!

Nama J2 Large Pitcher Set

Nama designed their Large Pitcher Set to make batch juicing that much easier and quicker.

Nama J2 Large Pitcher Set has a built-in Pulp screen.

The set includes a juice pitcher, pulp catcher, pulp screen, gasketed lid, and integrated pulp scraper that all nests together for easy storage. Overall, the engineering behind this product really sets it apart.

Nama Large Pitcher Set Pros and Cons

I have only good things to say about this newest addition to the Nama list of accessories. Here’s the breakdown of what I found:

The Nama J2 Large Pitcher Set comes with a juice pitcher, pulp catcher, pulp screen, gasketed lid and integrated pulp scraper that all nests together for easy storage.

PROS

  • Integrated Pulp Strainer – Having a strainer built into the pitcher that easily removes for cleaning is a huge plus.
  • Nesting Parts – All elements of the Set nest inside one another for easy storage.
  • No-Drip Pour Spout – I’ve not had a single issue with drips or overpours with this pitcher.
  • Sealed Lid – It was a thoughtful addition to put a silicone gasket on the interior of the storage lid. This keep your juice airtight using the juice pitcher without having to transfer it to Jars.
  • Pulp Scraper – This is another great feature: a pulp scraper to use with the pulp screen that snaps into the lid when not in use.

CONS

  • Too Porous Mesh – While the pulp screen does a good job of removing a good amount of pulp, I prefer a finer mesh strainer. Not a deal breaker, just a personal preference.

Is the Nama J2 Large Pitcher Set Worth It?

After testing the Nama J2 Large Pitcher Set, I really do like it and feel that it’s worth the price.

For batch juicers, having this set that both strains out pulp and handles much larger quantities than standard pitchers is an investment worth making.
