easy beginner juice recipe

Everybody’s Doin’ It!

  • Author: JuiceFeaster
  • Total Time: 10 minutes
  • Yield: 32 fl oz 1x

Description

This simple juice recipe is great for beginners and veteran juicers alike. It’s the very first juice recipe I ever made and I credit it for starting my life-long love of juicing!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 Carrots
  • 4 Apples
  • 3” Thumb Ginger

Instructions

  1. Scrub and remove the tops of the carrots.
  2. Rinse off and core (optional) the apples.
  3. Scrub the ginger.
  4. Run all ingredients through your juicer and enjoy!!!

Notes

You may have noticed that I don’t say to peel any ingredients. With a few exceptions, I like to keep the skins on all the produce I juice. There are important nutrients located in the skin, and juicing them typically doesn’t negatively alter the finished juice.

The exceptions to this rule are pomegranates and citrus.  Both have super bitter skin. But even with citrus, if there is only one piece, say a lemon or lime, I’ll leave it on. Any more, though, and I’ll peel the rest before juicing.
